Open/Set Region Automation to Control Change 30 (CC30). It is possible to write “programs” for MIDI devices that aren’t notes being played.

The MIDI specification lists CC30 as “undefined”. Device (software) manufacturers are free to use CC30 for their own purposes.

You can find the standard definitions of continuous controllers (CC) in the latest version of the MIDI Implementation Chart v2.

Set pointer to the Quantize Tool. Simple access is to type T to bring up the Tool Menu, then Q.

Quantize each note that you click on using the Quantize Tool.

Only available in the tool menus of the Piano Roll and the Score Editor.

In Logic Pro, click a note, or a selected group of notes, with the Quantize tool.
The notes are quantized to the active Quantize value.

Logic Pro 10.6 has been released. The name of the application has changed to “Logic Pro”. Many commands have had their text changed, small typos fixed, Logic Pro X changed to Logic Pro. A few new commands have been added.
