Toggle Select Regions on Track Selection ⌃⌥⇧⌘A

I used to have it set to select all the regions when selecting a track. This turns out to not be what I normally want. I have mapped the toggle to be “Hyper Select”.

Auto Slur Above — Logic Pro keyboard command of the day (KCotD)

  Auto Slur Above

Attach an automatic slur above the selected notes. The slur will adjust when you move a note or change the pitch. Very handy.

Add dynamic marks, slurs, and crescendi to a score in Logic Pro — Apple Support

You can add and edit automatic slurs, which automatically adjust to cover a selected group of contiguous notes. Automatic slurs adjust when notes are copied, moved, or transposed. They do not overlap with notes, accidentals, or most score symbols.

Open/Close Audio Insert 12 Plug-in Window of focused Track — Logic Pro keyboard command of the day (KCotD)

Open/Close Audio Insert 12 Plug-in Window of focused Track

That sure is a lot of plug-ins on a channel. This set of commands (inserts 1-15) are assigned to the position of the insert. If an insert slot is empty then the command flashes the screen and does nothing.

I can see the utility of having insert slots populated in a standard order like a mixer.

Add and adjust automation points in Logic Pro — Apple Support

To create changes over time to volume, pan, and effects settings, you add automation points to a track’s automation curve at different places, and then adjust the automation points so the value of the setting changes. You can adjust automation points by moving them up or down to a new value or by moving them left or right to a new point in the timeline. Numerical values are displayed alongside each automation point. You can also raise or lower the value of MIDI parameters associated with notes in instrument tracks or Drummer tracks. Note and numerical values are displayed alongside each MIDI data point. You can also add automation points at selection area or region borders.

Execute MIDI transformation 23, please. I don’t know what it does, but I suspect that I will remember it.

Plenty of macros available. The built-ins cover my needs.

Use MIDI transform sets in Logic Pro — Apple Support

Depending on your needs, it may be worthwhile to create your own transform sets. These can be configured and saved as part of a project. (Doing this in your template projects makes your transform sets available in all projects.) Your transform sets are shown at the bottom of the Presets pop-up menu.
