Move the selected item up. I am not sure of the exact distance the symbol is moved, but it appears that it can be +/- 999 steps. Same increments for left and right. The symbol information is in the Event Inspector box.

The information in the symbol inspector includes Symbol (a number), Staff, Vertical Position, Horizontal Position.

Using key commands: You can use key commands to move any score symbol that can be positioned independently of notes or staffs, as well as text events and chord symbols. These functions don’t alter the bar position of the affected symbols and text events. They alter the Horizontal Position and Vertical Position parameters by ±1.

Remove the beam(s) from the selected notes. Makes each note independent.

By default, a note’s stem direction and length depend on the settings in the Staff Style window. You can change these attributes to improve readability; for example, to group notes meant to be played as a voice in a polyphonic passage.

  Select All Regions and Events

Located in the Edit menu — ‘Select All Regions and Events’. I am not quite sure where this would come in to use, but I certainly understand the concept.

Selects all of the regions and events for the currently “in use” tracks in the Main Window Tracks, as well as everything currently visible in the Score Editor window.

You can view MIDI regions in software instrument (and external MIDI instrument) tracks as music notation in the Score Editor. Notes and other musical events are displayed as standard notation, along with common symbols such as time and key signature, bar lines, and clef signs. You can add and edit notes, add sustain pedal markings and other symbols, and print the score.
