Scroll the page in the score to the far right (think swipe left) using the ‘end’ key on the extended keyboard. Page Left with the ‘home’ key. Essentially go to the beginning (home) or end (end) of the score. Sometimes the terminology confuses me. I am used to full-page displays that fit completely into the window. Just my assumptions.

Notation overview — Logic Pro X

You can view MIDI regions in software instrument (and external MIDI instrument) tracks as music notation in the Score Editor. Notes and other musical events are displayed as standard notation, along with common symbols such as time and key signature, bar lines, and clef signs. You can add and edit notes, add sustain pedal markings and other symbols, and print the score.

Page Left (and right, up, down) work in various windows. Page left scrolls the display bringing “earlier” information in to view. How far things scroll (time or bars) is dependent on the zoom level of the current window.

Moves the score to the left. The “Home” key on the keyboard.

Score Editor overview — Logic Pro X

The Score Editor can display a single MIDI region or software instrument track. In the Score Editor, each track appears as a separate staff. Notes, rests, and other musical events in the MIDI regions on the track are displayed in standard musical notation.

An entirely different way to look at written music. Changing the colors of note-heads certainly can help locating and identifying elements of a score. It’s kind of neat.

When Additional Score Options is selected in the Advanced preferences pane, you can assign different colors to individual notes, using the available colors in the three color palettes.

By default, a note’s stem direction and length depend on the settings in the Staff Style window. You can change these attributes to improve readability; for example, to group notes meant to be played as a voice in a polyphonic passage.

Remove the stems from notes on the score. You could make an interesting guessing game where someone has to figure out beaming and duration of the note heads.
