Took 3 tries to get something interesting today.
Use step input recording techniques — Logic Pro X:
Step input allows you to insert MIDI notes when you’re not recording in real time. You can use step input to create note runs that may be too fast for you to play or to replicate sheet music that’s too difficult for you to play.

Object Height +1 Pixel ⌥⇧↓
Found in the Environment. I still don’t get it with the “down” arrow making something bigger. Sort of like computer chips using 1 for false and 0 for true…
The manual says use keyboard commands, but doesn’t list them 😉 The width commands make sense left arrow makes smaller, right arrow makes bigger.
Seems strange that documentation back to version 9 doesn’t actually list the keyboard commands.

Set All Tracks to Automation Off ⌃⇧⌘O
Along with the ability to set all tracks O(ff) you can use R(ead), T(ouch), L(atch), and Write (this one is not mapped).
When it comes to automation volume/level I am far more likely to use region gain to adjust levels before I automate. That’s part of the skill/art that I need to work on. We get past the mechanics of doing the automation (and how it works) and concentrate on why it might be artful.
Many things come to mind. Time to post and continue.

Event Channel = 13
Once again to the Event List/Editor. Set the channel of the selected events to 13.

By default, the Event List shows all events in the selected MIDI region.

Stems: down ⌃⌥↓
In the Score Editor. Change the direction of note stems to “down””. Personally I find “Stems: none” to be kind of fun and interesting…I also like the options for note heads.
Change stem direction, length, and beaming — Logic Pro X:
By default, a note’s stem direction and length depend on the settings in the Staff Style window. You can change these attributes to improve readability; for example, to group notes meant to be played as a voice in a polyphonic passage.
